To make a small quilted wall hanging (3 layers) finished size 8inches by 24 inches with or without binding.
It must be of one colour only with solid or patterned fabrics giving shades/tones of the same colour. (Patterned fabric can have minimal white or cream background or pattern in order to select shades of the one colour).
Any fabric can be used ie cotton, silk, wool, You can choose any colour from your stash and use one technique only chosen from the following methods:
- Japanese folded patchwork,
- Appliqué hand or machine,
- foundation piecing,
- English paper piecing and
- traditional block piecing by hand or machine.
The finished piece can be hand or machine quilted with the same colour of thread with any embellishments also of the same chosen colour.
Please apply small label on back left hand corner of quilt giving your name and state the technique used.
Please add either small sleeve or rings to hang the quilt.
