Congratulations on yet another brilliant show. Wish I could have been there. Looking forward to the photos. Loved young Livvy Morans quilt – a great first quilt.
Visited your exhibition on Saturday 20th Feb 2016, with friends, we all enjoyed it so much, fantastic, keep up the good work ladies you are all so talented, and thank you for the wonderful lunch, Thank you for a very enjoyable day
Ann Gosling,I saw your lovely “flower Power” quilt at Uttoxeter today, I thought it should have had a first prize. Sorry I didn’t get to Montague’s exhibition but have just been looking at the pictures.
Hi, just wanted to wish you all good luck for the exhibition – I’m sure it will be brilliant as usual. Just sorry I won’t be there to help wash up! I really like the ” dove ” quilt you have all made. Hope to see some of you soon when we visit in April.
Will be thinking of you love Pauline (Georgina’s friend )
I’ve been a member of Montague Patchers for about 17years but this is my first visit to the website. (Shame on me!). I have just spent a happy hour browsing. Another patchwork related activity which puts a halt to housework.
Linda your I.T.skills are so impressive and the April meeting which you organised was one of the best I can remember. Thank you
Thank you Denise – I enjoyed the buzz that the meeting created too! But I have to admit that this website is the creation of Mr. Morgan, Mollie’s ‘other half’!
I was thrilled to see the article in The Patchwork Magazine all about your 25th Anniversary. The group has certainly grown since I was a member. I remember the first meetings in Margaret Menzies house, there were about 10 of us I seem to remember before we had to move on to larger premises (Montague Church Rooms). I have happy memories of sewing, chatting and friendships, I was a member for about 10 years before I moved down to Devon, where I have been a member of Exeter Quilters for 15 years. We celebrated our 30 year anniversary last Sunday, again lots of lovely friends. Good wishes to all Montague Patchers in all your projects. Very best wishes from Gill
What a wonderful welcome from all my ‘patchwork friends’. The exhibition was stunning, there are so may talented ladies in the group. Thank you for all the hard work that went on behind the scenes to put on the exhibition. What a coup Lesley being interviewed for Radio Manchester. Well done everyone. I had a lovely day, thanks.
Hi to Margaret M & Carolyn W and anyone else who might remember me!
I moved out to NSW., Australia five years ago but remember with affection my visits to Montague Patchers – I even taught a workshop there many years ago.
Congratulations on your wonderful website and good luck for your 25th anniversary exhibition coming up next year. Fond memories, Anne Carter (ex Beartown P’s & Q’s Congleton chairman and now co-running Jacaranda City Quilters in Grafton, Northern N.S.W. with another pom, Marian!)
Impressive gallery some lovely quilting, I’m planning on moving near the area in the future, and would be interested in knowing where and when you meet etc
